M&P 9 Shield Plus Optics Ready

I am considering this pistol. I do plan to put a reflex sight on it in the future. The question is, you guys that have it, do you find because of the loaded round hole in the top of the slide, that the reflex sight gets dirty faster from the escaping gasses?

Running good ammo, my wife's Shield Plus hasn't had a problem. Run cheap dirty ammo and I see a little, but we're talking a couple hundred rounds, and it isn't so bad that the gun's out of action. A simple swipe with a lens cloth and it's all good once again.
