I've had the 209304, 12rd, no mag safety model, excellant gun. I don't think the thumb safety models in 9/40 are actually out yet, at least none of my distributors have them in stock.

I've owned one since August of last year and have fired about 800 rounds through it. It has been 100% reliable and is very accurate, especially with Cor-Bon DPX. I could not be more pleased with it.

My gun guy had the 40 with the thumb safety in the display case. The 9 Compact was without. I'll see him at the club tomorrow and tell him to put the 9 away for me.

Perhaps I am missing something, but I have never heard of a Model 9004. What is it?

I believe he was refering to the 109004 or 209004 SKUs'.
