M&P price increase at Academy?

I just bought my M&P9C from Academy on the 26th for $500 + tax. I was just in there today and the full size and compact have gone up $20. Any particular reason why a pistol that's been out for so long would randomly go up? Or are they taking advantage of the "rush" right now?

I know someone said manufactures where going to stop giving discounts to distributors soon maybe this is the out come of that?

I think they have raised a lot of prices recently due to the "panic"

I've purchased a couple of firearms from Academy and they tend to offer pretty good prices. But I imagine their sell price depends on the price they paid to the distributor.

I do know that as of yesterday the local store still had some pmags at pre-rumored AWB prices.

I saw a used MP 40C for $511 yesterday. I paid $585 for a Dark Earth, thumb safety, 45C two weeks ago at a different shop.
