M&P Pro 9mm Trigger Question

Newer shooter with a M&P Pro and Apex FSS flat faced forward set trigger kit upgrade feels that the trigger pull is inconsistent? Is it my imagination?
My inexperience?
Is this possible?

Mine is consistent at 4.5lb, are you using a trigger gauge?

Sure, it's possible. But as Shield 9mm asked, do you have a trigger guage? If not, even a fish scale will do fairly well. As humans, too many things going thru our heads to really get an objective conclusion of pull weight. I (and probably you) can easily tell a light trigger from a heavy one. Accurately? Not so much.

The smoothness of a trigger can mask it's actual pull weight.
