M&P sale coming up?

I have heard that on January 3, 2011 there will be a S&W "special" on M&Ps. I do not know if this means rebates on gun purchases or discounts on mags or what.

Anyone else have information?

Probably just a lower initial price. Ed's Guns in Vass will have J frames new for $369 starting next week. That's $50 cheaper than before, meaning that the mail-in rebate that expired turns into instant savings instead. Lower demand and poor S&W sales = lower prices.

S&W lowered their prices by $50 on all M&P pistol December 1'st. I heard they are going to go back up sometime in January from my dealer.

Did I miss something? I was just on the S&W web site and they have the price for the M&P 9 Pro MSRP at $669 and the Julie Golob M&P 9 for $619. The 9L is listed at $759. A Pro and a Champion series are both cheaper than the 9L??? Doesn't make sense to me, but if those prices are correct I'm going shopping this week. I've been thinking about a 9L and some Apex parts, but if the Pro is cheaper...

I live 10 minutes from the S&W Retail store, 2 weeks ago, they dropped the prices on all the MP's, rifles included, I got the 40c for 492.00 less 10% for being a vet.. $440 plus tax.. wish I put another MP-15-22 on layaway, went in the store last week to shoot and the prices went back up.. all the MP pistols in the store and online were like $492.00 for about a week.. not sure about the Pro or the signature models..
