Definitely put me in the "love" category. I've got the Lasermax laser on it. (Okay, but I wouldn't say it's a must have.) Just got the Pearce mag extension plates. Those ARE a must have, especially on the short mag. Many people do trigger mods, but looks I got one of the good factory triggers. Might think about night sights, but I do like the factory sights for range shooting.

so far havent done anything to it... have over 500 rounds thru it( until tom then it will be more) love the gun. now for mods i actually don't mind the trigger its just like my 45 m&p. i do have a ct laser on the way and i have ameriglo night sights on the way with a crossbreed holster. i think that will be my only mods to the gun but who knows new stuff always comes out.

i actually lied i also have traction grips on the way to try just to make the grip a little less slippery, i dont have that problem with my 45 but its a FS and has a wider grip, the shield is very slim

I added the Apex Carry Kit, swapped the sights for night sights, and put on Talon rubber grips. Love the gun and love how easy it is to carry.

No mods

I've got over a thousand rounds through mine. The more I shoot it the better it/or me shoots. Old Faithful IWB holster. Trigger is fine for a carry gun. Father-in-law was a LEO and used a heavy trigger on his carry gun, said he didn't want to pull a round off by mistake when adrenalin was pumping.

Love my Shield. Put XS Big Dot sights, Pearce mag extension, and Talon rubber grips on it. Would love an extended mag release.

Sights. Thats it.

i like the gun . trigger not so much. suppost to be 6.5 lbs but its 8.5. ive put 500 rounds in the gun and it hasnt failed me yet.

Bought my Shield 9mm as soon as they came out to replace my LC9 that I couldn't grow to love.

Put TFO sights, Talon rubber grips and lastly added, after around 1k rounds, an APEX DCAEK. Has been my EDC ever since. Lately it is occurs to me, the DCAEK is fine for the range but may NOT be the best trigger for my EDC - Too light of a trigger pull. I've considered removing the APEX parts with the exception of the USB for carry purposes.

As an aside, recently bought a G26 Gen4 and have given it a thorough range work out. Now I have a decision to make - Which pistola gets the nod as my EDC? Either one is superb in the assigned role... :D

500+ flawless rounds (124 and 147 ball & 147 Federal HST).

Carry mods are 10-8 rear, Hiviz front, ATS DCAEK, ATS AEK.

Love it.

Love it... Flawless for a couple Thousand rounds now and has been my EDC in a Galco Pocket Holster since May of 2012.
NO mods whatsoever. It's fine as it is, but I MIGHT try some Pierce Extensions on some of my mags.

The last trip to the range, I actually shot better groups with the Shield than my XDMc and G26.

My wife and I each have a Shield9. We love ours. I just added a Pearce magazine floorplate to a couple of the magazines. I may add a Lasermax to hers and XS-Big Dots to mine. My G27 remains in the safe most of the time now that I have the Shield.
