I'm sure there is a thread somewhere here just don't know where. Where is the best place to buy extra mags for the 9mm Shield?

I just picked up a couple more spare 7 round mags from Grabagun.com
$28 each and a flat $5 shipping (+tax, for TX residents though).

Bought them on Tues, got 'em today.

Shield Mags

8rd mags on ebay from joespawnshop.(put in " smith & wesson shield 8rd magazine" under search). Got 2 last month for $70+ shipping($4.99) Don't pay the FULL buy it now price. If no ebay acct call Joespawn in AL at 256-894-9994 He is also on gun broker

I bought a pair of 7 rounders off e-bay a couple of weeks ago for $56 delivered.

:confused:I thought that S&W itself might be the best place to get extra mags, but I guess not. I've been waiting for an extra mag for over a month now, and I was at Cabela's in Maine yesterday and never even thought to check there. I figured if anyone would get extra mags it would be the Manufacturer itself. Silly me!

I may just call to cancel the order I have in w/S&W. I've had the extra magazines on order since May...still haven't received anything yet.

Greg Cote LLC has them in stock. $31.95 each plus $5.95 shipping. Very fast turnaround time. Had them in 3 days

Thanks for the info, guys--I'll be calling S&W tomorrow to cancel. My order has been in since 5/02.

I just ordered a couple from Greg Cote LLC for $31.95 plus shipping. He has both the 7 rounder's and 8 rounder's in 9mm in stock

Update:

Just got off the phone w/Mark from CS, and my order is still active in the system. According to his report, there are about 4000 backorders, and the shop is expected to receive 5000 by the end of the month.

Meanwhile, I've got lots of other guns to shoot. I'll still practice with the Shield, but with not as many rounds. I really like having at least five magazines for each of the pistols I take out to the range.
