Easiest thing to do with Gander is have them price match guns if they have the gun in stock you really want. They will price match any competitor within about an hour drive. Got my 15-22 knocked down from $500 to $414 just this past week. They weren't too happy but I was. So it's definitely a better route to just pick up the rifle and add your own scope.

My Gander Mtn went down $50 on the basic 15-22, from 499 to 450 and all I did was ask. I ended up going elsewhere to buy my MOE model cuz Gander can't get that one. I paid 500.

You got a very good deal. I paid $508 for the MOE shipped from Bud's and they have gone up to $520 + 3% = ~$536.

Nam, I think I asked you this in another thread - how much does your local gunshop charge when you order online? Do they send it to a dealer and you have to pick it up?
