I just purchased a new S&W M&P15 ORC .223 on 01/02/2010.
Is it too late to apply for the S&W Factory rebate for 5 free mags
that had a expiration date of 12/31/09 on the form?

Will S&W honor a few days late purchase submittal due to the holidays?
Just wondering, wishing and hoping.

The fullfillment company can deny your request. Just get the receipt to have the 12/31/09 date on it and you will be golden.

Thanks DillonT.
I sent the form out with a copy of my receipt and dealer's Dros invoice.

Hi 27_Beck,
I wish you responded earlier.
I already mailed paperwork with 01/02/2010 dated receipt
and invoice.

I was not aware that it will be processed by a fulfillment center.
I thought it was being processed at the S&W Factory.
Well, wait and see....

Thank you both for your suggestions.

I purchased two MP15 VTACs one day prior to the promotion. I went ahead and sent in all the paperwork and about 8 weeks later I got it returned to me stating I did not meet the promotion date requirements.

Oh well, only cost me a couple of stamps to try. I thought that perhaps one day would be forgiven but not the case!!!!

Hope you have better luck.

P.S. I did not want to change the date on the receipt (which could have easily been done with Photoshop). Figured "cheating" would somehow give me bad luck with my rifles.

Unfortunately, I'd say yes. They are pretty strict with the guidelines. It wouldn't be fair to everyone else if they didn't. Good luck though, you never know.
