I was looking at this one too but decided to update my old Colt instead.

Old Kyle seems to really know his stuff on the AR-15 platform.

Finally took delivery via GunBroker.com.

This version is tough to find. I put tactical scope on and sighted in last week. Just love the Viking Tactic features included. One of the top-of-the-line models...$1,610 excluding scope.

My local gun shop quoted me $1,450 six months ago and I got tired of waiting for this "super deal" from him. I spoke to my brother-in-law last night and his buddy paid $1,715 over the weekend on the East Coast for the VTAC.

I check BudsGunShop.com daily and they have had all of the other 13 M&P15 versions in stock for the past 5 weeks...not the VTAC.

Can't say enough good things about the VTAC...well worth the premium price IMO.
