I am currently using a UTG brass catcher on my 15t during trips to my local range. No matter how I try and bend it, it just doesn't seem to like being strapped to a quad rail  It doesn't always catch the spent case, and sometimes causes stovepipes and misfeeds.

If any one has any trouble shooting pointers for this brass catcher- I'm all ears- or if you would like to suggest the catcher you use- fire away!

I use the same catcher.
I have them on my all my ARs including a Sport and ARs with a dust cover.
I did put them in a vise and make matched bends to each rifle, and on the ones with dust covers I left them closed until I had the catchers on. It sort of acts like a bridge that spans any gap left, when open.
Getting a good "bend seal" was key.

fwiw, I never had good luck with anything that attaches to the rifle. Here's what I rigged up to save my brass. It's basically a net from Walmart attached to my range box with bungee. Sounds rigged but it worked out pretty good. It folds up when not in use.

I was looking for a different catcher ... anticipating that my UTG might not be suitable for my new 50 Beowulf, and came across this "Brass Hog Brass Catcher"
A bit pricey at $70, but it attaches to a quad rail, won't scratch your weapon, and looks to have some definite advantages over the UTG.
It folds flat when not in use for a thin profile to store while still attached, can be opened to get at the receiver to clear fouls/jams and etc. without being removed, and like the UTG ....you can empty the bag while it's attached (the bag itself can also be removed) and you don't need tools to install it or it's bag.
It weighs 7.2 oz.

I'll probably get one if I have trouble with my UTG (set up as I posted before) on the 50B.

I don't think we are allowed to post seller's URls, so just goggle 'Brass Hog Brass Catcher' for more info.

Thanks that looks promising. I think I'll fight with the UTG one some more for now. I'd rather spend that kind of money elsewhere- but it definitely will be considered if I can't get the current one to play nice!

Yeah ... my exact thoughts too.
As indicated in my earlier post, I do have my UTGs working well on my 5.56 ARs.
But I'm not sure if they'll work as well on the 50B because of it's larger reciever ejection port.
