I recently purchased a M&P9c and LOVE it! In fact, one of the reason I purchased it was because the trigger felt better than any of the Glock, XDM, or similar striker fire guns. I have now put 600 rounds through the gun and have started noticing that I can feel just a little bit of grittiness right before the trigger breaking.
I was curious if anyone has experienced this and if so have you done anything to make it better. I know about dropping in he Apex trigger but I would like to stick with the stock trigger for now and see what I can do.
There is a notch that sticks out on the bottom of the slide that forces the guide (sorry I don't know the technical terms) over to unblock the firing pin safety. I think that grittiness I feel happens when it pass that notch and rubs against it so I thought maybe polishing that notch would improve the feel. Thoughts? Am I making any sense?
