I’ve spent the last 4 weekends digging through the estate of a gun shop owner who closed doors over 20 years ago. I unearthed this treasure this past Saturday.

It’s a full case of Lake City M1 Carbine ball ammo dated 1972. 1080 rounds on stripper clips, in bandoleers. Since I started digging, I’ve spent more than I paid for my first car. Well worth it!

It pairs well with my Inland M1, Inland M1A1 and WWII Winchester ammo. :)

I've been shooting Korean 1980's M1 Carbine ammo packed in the same way. Love the bandoleers and loading clips. Interesting to think that the Korean police who carried the Carbine when I was in Korea in 83-84 were shooting the same stuff.

I managed to buy a few cans of those from a retired friend that was moving to Michigan. he didn't want to tote the weight cross country. I've been on a carbine kick lately. Just finished preparing a stock for some boiled linseed oil!
