Ran across a couple 8 round 45 ACP mags for Third Gen .45's (4506/4586 etc) that are Performance Center marked.

Curious to know what these would be going for these days...

Thanks, in advance.

Since this isn't that old a thread I'll ask a similar question.

While sorting through 7 round magazines for my 457 I found one marked with the Performance Center logo.

Which gun does it go with and what differences are there between a PC marked magazine and a regular magazine?

I will guess the 7-round PC marked mag is for a PC Shorty45, unless it is very clearly marked "for use in 945 only."

Difference between a PC marked magazine and standard? Zero difference except the lettering and cool logo.

Yep Shorty 45, 45 MK2 and the 45 Recons.

There are actually two different PC marked 7 rnd magazines. I got seven total with my Recon of both styles. Probably can date them by the difference but don't know.

Yep again no difference except the PC markings but some seek them out and pay more. Kinda like the "For Law Enforcement/Military Only" marked magazines. Too funny.

I haven't seen any 7 rnd PC marked ones sell recently but their 12 rnd 9mm and 9 rnd .40 counterparts sell for $65.00. +/-

Funny thing about folks that really get the collecting bug is that there are variations of the PC marked magazines too, depending on which different ones we're talking about. I have two different .356TSW magazines that came with my 3566 Limited and both are PC marked but quite obviously different from each other.

There are so many things you could be compelled to chase. Matter of fact, I have an extremely rare 4506 magazine that I suspect almost nobody has… it's a magazine with the LAPRAAC emblem on the floorplate and as far as I know, it came with the short run 4506 of the same name. I doubt it was ever sold as an accessory so I believe the one I own was separated from this pistol.

As rare as this is… I also cannot imagine much of a market for it.

Thanks for the answers and insights. I couldn't find anything different in the one magazine compared to the others. I don't know how long I've had it and only noticed it last night.

I'm not motivated enough to list it and since 7 round magazines are getting scarce I suspect that it would cost me about as much to replace it as I'd make.

If someone wants to trade even for it, I'd do that provided they paid postage both ways. Otherwise it just goes in the bin with my other 457 magazines.

Could they be 845 mags ? I have some new ones that I got with one of my 845's . They were extras I got on top of the 2 that came with the gun . You don't see them too often , yours might have got separated or like mine a new one someone bought .
