Seems time for another meal protection thread? Well here is my latest toy, an M4 carbine version of the AR.

This carbine is built from a Del-Ton lower, stainless steel lower parts kit, a Bravo Company 16" M4 profiled barrel on a Bravo Company upper. The bolt carrier group is a LMT (Lincoln Machine Tool) product. The butstock is a M4 6 position stock from Rock River Arms. The rear sight/handle assembly are only tempory, soon to be replaced. The chargin handle is the BCM Voltor "Gunfighter" enlarged latch variety

This handy little carbine is doing it's job protecting tonight's meal of beans and ham.

By the way, the beans and ham were excellent!:D

Oh, that was not so nice! :D

My kids just had Blazing Saddles on a DVD playing it this past weekend, with the now-forever-famous campfire scene. It amazes me how that thing has remained popular over the years.

Nice little carbine you have there. I have been putting a similar gun together in 7.62x39 recently, and it has worked out surprisingly well.
