I'm thinking about a lighter weight, round butt, companion for my M19 4". I came across a 3" M65-3 in stainless probably 98%. Does anyone carry one? It should use the same holsters and speed loaders, right?

I was gonna hold out for a M19 2.5" but the 65 came along. The only thing I'm not sold on is the fixed sights.

And lastly are the 3" barrels rare?

Thanks for any info!

I don't know how rare they are, but they are not that easy to find. The 3" models seem to go for a premium. I say buy it now!

BUY IT!!!!!!, a 3" inch barrel is kinda rare. But it gives you a full stroke to dump the empties. A 2.5' barrel leaves the empties hanging, just a little. The fixed sights are not a problem.

The 3" Model 65 is the finest concealed carry defensive revolver out there.

It can use the same reloaders and holsters as the M19.

Buy it.

JP 2 Alpha,
Dont hesitate to buy that 65. In a 3" configuration, they are damm near perfect.I picked one up about 2 month ago, and it is easy to carry, and shoot. I too, was concerned about the fixed sights. Nothing to worry about. The gun shoots where you point it.Have put 500 rounds thru it, and like better each time I shoot it.

I have a 65-3 4" and recently purchased a 65-5 3".
It doesn't get any better, at least for me.

I have a nice 19 2.5" I'd swap you for your Model 65 3".

Respond if interested to prifax@gmail for pics.

An old picture. Perfect IWB carry gun, fixed sights a plus.
