Got this mag from a friend to try to find out what it fits. I'm posting this here because it really ain't gun smithing. Please feel free to move it if you want to.
It is a .380 magazine and it had 6 rounds in it and I believe it was full. The little button on the floor plate pushes in and the plate slides off for cleaning. Steel follower. I figgered that if anyone could ID it one of you folks probably can. The bic lighter is for size comparison. (and for lighting cigs) :p
Thank you very much for looking at it.
Peace,
Gordon

First glance I'd say it's a STAR Model DK Starfire magazine.
IIRC, they have the slot at the rear of the floor plate for the tail of the follower to protrude when the mag is full,,kind of a fully loaded indicator.
Neat little 380cal locked breech 1911 style pistol that the GCA68 stopped importation of.

I had a couple of those DK's and they are very nice carry pistols,,they have quite a following.
Iver Johnson and another outfit who's name escapes me at this hour made the guns in the USA or at least assembled them after the GCA68 import ban. Those were steel frame,,orig Star was alloy. Their magazine may be a little different or as least the floor plate and follower shape was as best I can recall.
A Model S Star 380 mag will fit the DK, hang down below the grip, but give you an extra round (maybe 2?) capacity for when you get into that fierce street battle with the local cartel
