I have an order in to S&W for a few 25 round magazines (Product: M&P15-.22 25 RD Magazine).

I notice after placing the order that their website does not show any kind of status. It lists the basic info on the order, but no "processing", "shipped", etc. There doesn't even appear to be a placeholder for it. Heck, it doesn't even display my shipping address.

Has anyone else ordered from the recently and know if these magazines are actually in stock and shipping?

I ordered as well & nothing but a Order Confirmation eMail yet,They were more than likely closed for the holidays & will open back up tomorrow.

S&W reopens tomorrow. I am calling regarding my order also.

Bob.

The Smith&Wesson store is famous for telling customers items are on back order AFTER you call looking for a status update. On the bright side, they won't charge your credit card until the order is actually filled. I've been waiting for M&P .22 magazines for 6 weeks.

Ouch... have you contacted them? And did they give you any sort of ETA on having yours?

Yes, sir. They told me over 7,000 were on back order (10 of which I ordered) and that I could expect them no earlier than mid-January.

Update: Received an email this morning from Michael at S&W customer service. He indicated he "had no idea" when I could expect the magazines we ordered 2 months ago!

I placed order on Dec 28 for a few mags. I knew things were crazy, but thought since it didnt mention then being out of stock I was safe ordering direct from S&W. After a few days I noticed they havent charged my credit card yet so I email. I get a generic response saying all magazines are out of stock and on backorder with no ETA. Called and waited forever to talk to rep only to find out he had no clue when the order would be fulfilled.

I ordered some magazines from them and they have charged my credit card but I dont know if they are on the way or not. I was hoping to get a e-mail or something to let me know

Are you sure that "charge" is not just a "Temporary Authorization"? Also, don't expect an email, according to them, they don't do that they just "pack it and ship it out".

It has completely been taken out because its not in the pending transaction like it was a day or so

I had a "Temporary Authorization" from them for like 3-4 days and then pooofff.. gone. Called them, and they said they still had my order allocated to me to ship but like everyone else no ETA. That is when he said they do that to check funds availability. I got the funds, now I just need the product :)

Good friend of mine ordered 3 of them a bit more then 2 weeks ago.
Websight showed them in stock. Smith charged his CC, not a pending.
They took the money.
Heard nothing from them since. He finally calls them couple of days ago, wondering where his mags were?
Customer service tells him, "sorry about that"
"No we dont have any", they did refund his money on his card.
Crappy way to do business.

I ordered on monday 2 10 rounders, I had to call the next morning to check to see if they actually had them.. The dude said they had the 10 rounders and thats it, and he had to release my order. Hopefully they come in! He said it should be about a week.. After I talked to him I had a charge on my CC

Rumors around that Smith is waiting to see what happens with a hi-cap ban. They don't want to manufacture thousands of an item and have it turned to scrap by an Executive Order.

I also have some on order. I will just wait, won't even waste time with a phone call.

That is grim news ... you'd think they'd build them 24/7 for all of us that own a 15-22 and want to get some before they are banned.
