Yep, really! I`m a big fan of the S&W shooting/sun glasses-been wearing them for years. Now that I`m old, the sights are really getting fuzzy. First noticed it while shooting high power. Was having a lot of trouble focusing on the front sight of the AR. Could still read target numbers at 600 yds, but up close was getting tough. Ended up putting a Bob Jones lens in my rear aperature, and that really helped.
Now its hurting my handgun shooting. If S&W (or anybody) would make a .5 or .75 power full lens (not bi-focal readers) pair of shooting glasses, I think that would be ideal for a focused front sight and a target not too blury.
Of course, the cost should be under $20. How cool would that be?
Thanks,

Wiley x makes prescription eye protection. You could contact them. Sawfly revision has prescription insert options. You could also go that route. I'd try any optometrist office's prescription sunglasses with a safety glasses lense first.

I'm sure there are plenty of ways to get someone to make the perfect lense for you, but it'll cost a lot more than that 3 pack of Wal-Mart reading glasses at $15

There's a optometrist here in town that specializes in sports, shooting included. While pretty much any opto can make you glasses for shooting using any of a bezillion quality frames like Wiley this guy will make real shooting glasses to fit your need like different scripts in each eye. My eyes are finally starting to give a bit and might be going to see this guy. I finally developed a bit of an astigmatism which makes some like Eotech shooting a little less than ideal.
