Mags in stock?

Botachtechnical.com does not list them as out of stock, but I just ordered 2 a few days ago and just got an email they are backorder with no ETA. However, the order is still in and they are $21.95 each, $56 for 2 with shipping. So I just have to be patient.

Otherwise 44mag.com has recently had them in stock. They won't let you order, but they actually show the number they have in stock and will email you when they do. They have them for $25 each + $5 s/h.

Those are the 2 best prices I've seen. Otherwise they are pretty much out everywhere else. The S&W rep I talked to said they can't keep up with demand.

I found some on Gunbroker. I overpaid a bit but I need some to get started in USPSA and I don't want to miss another match.

I may order some more though I don't know if I need more than 5.

When my M&P 45 comes back It will need some though...

My local Gander Mtn has them in stock for 59.99. Think they are still available on their web site at the same price. You have to be pretty desperate to pay that price, but it's the only place I've seen them in stock. Good luck

My GM is sold out now. That's how bad it has been.

I bought three for a buddy at a big gun show recently. Three for $105. $35 ea. is way overpriced, but what are you going to do...?

I've found some local stores have these in stock, but the price seems to be $39-42.00

I paid too much... but I need them so what am I going to do like you say...

I am thinking I may try to see if I can do a trade for a M&P 9 Mid-Size for my 45 when it gets back... assuming it is right, I will not trade a bad gun off but as the 4.5" worked fine just the threaded barrel had issues I am sure it will be fine. If not I can trade it without the threaded barrel.

I would only do this so I can just have one type of mag and ammo to worry about other than my revolvers.

New guy here. I just took delivery of M&P9C. Local shop helped with Xgrip but, couldn't find a 17 round mag to go with it.

After much searching on the net and locally, I emailed Jet Guns Friday for availability. Jim responded in a few hours that they had several cases in stock.

I received confirmation that my order had shipped with the tracking number in less than three hours of placing it.

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Jet, this is my first business transaction and I don't know how it's going to turn out.

Thanks for the heads up. But $35 per is kinda expensive...

Not if the other choice is $59 at gander mountain.lol

In the last week I have seen them in stock at a local gun store, local cabelas and local gander. Didn't pay attn to price though since I have 4 already and was actually looking for mags for my 4003.

Bought 2 ($34 each) at a gun show two weeks ago. Not the best price but still a lot better than MSRP ($42).

I may go to a show this weekend, any I see under 40 I plan to pickup if they have any.

If you plan to shoot your gun in Production, you will only need 10 round mags as that is the limit for that division. Also 5 to 6 mags is all you need, but I run with 6 just in case one malfunctions.

I will have 5, I didn't see the point of the 10s as I could hardly find them either, and may as well get the normal ones anyway. Not to mention it is much easier to put 10 is something that holds 17 vs 10 in a 10.

If I see one at the next show I want to pick it up to get up to 6.

Also it's 10+1 in IDPA/USPSA so if you only have 10 round mags, you have to have an extra mag in your pocket to load the pipe, then remove it and insert a full mag. Easier to just have 17 round mags and put 11 in your first mag, and 10 in all the rest.

Sounds like Mec-Gar needs to get on the ball.

Some have postulated that Mec Gar is the OEM manufacturer for S&W.

If that is indeed the case, it would make sense that they would be precluded from manufacturing any under their own name for less...

In fact, the very fact that they DO NOT make any, when the demand is obvious, lends credence to the theory that they are the OEM.
