Magtech Gaurdian Gold 9MM+P JHP

I purchased some from Cabela's, for $10.46 box/20, they came in, and the quality of the hollow point is crap, no consistency to the opening of the point, can even see lead in some...anyone else buy/use these? is this the norm? Cabela's says it is???? I am waiting on a call from Magtech,they are looking into it. I guess I am used to the W/C JHP in .45 that are all perfect looking. I just bought the 9mm and got these for personall protection...not sure the way they look?:

Never had any but I saw some recently at a gun show. I was attracted to the price but after inspection they looked like play bullets from Tonka Toys with inconsistancies in the finish. I passed on them.

I think you're a bit overcritical. Its common to see lead in the hollow, look at just about any of the JHP's from premiun Gold Dot, Hydra shok, etc. to standard JHP's. They're inexpensive enough so shoot them and then judge.
