I've got two large pieces of stag antler. I'd like to make a grip that covers the front strap of a J frame ala a secret service grip. In fact Eagle had one on their old Home page. I'll probably hit the pith trying to do it. Does anyone have a formula for a filler to make the pith look good? I'm thinking of finely ground horn mixed with clear epoxy or acrylic.
