Sniper Stock for M16/SR25/M110/AR-15/AR-10 with A2 receiver extension, buffer, and spring - SSR25-BTK

Has anyone checked these out and what are your opinions? Do you think a buttstock is worth this kind of price? Does someone else make something comparable. I am thinking the monopod on the bottom would help steady my CyberSport for even more accurate shots. Thanks You All.

it really does surprise me that magpul hasnt put it on the PRS stock they have... that would be secksay on your gun... but like i said... thats my opinion

going to sleep on it and think about ordering it....I would like to know if anyone has ever used one and how it worked? it should make the rifle even more steady at least for punching paper, plus an extra distance on LOP. What keeps me hesitant is that if the thing works and works well how come you dont find more buttstocks with monopods?

From what I've seen, they're pretty common among benchrest shooters and police/Secret Service snipers - people who need ridiculous accuracy but won't need to move around very much.

I think you'd always be fidgeting with it trying to adjust the height of the monopod and eventually you'd just go back to using your shoulder. You shot Pdogs, do they stay still long enough to get it set?

Rod...nope...that is why in theory it looks like a great idea but as I have been thinking about it, it wouldnt work in the real world for me. Nor would the buttpad, they just arent solid enough to support the back of the rifle and then you have to track a target it would have to be moving anyway so nope, thats why I spent some of the money on some more Freedom Bullets. So what are you doing this weekend (hint hint) LMAO

I remembered seeing this, a guy modified a Magpul STR to put on a monopod. Pretty cool for the industrious type..
