I have a Manurhin MR 73 revolver and would like to change the grips out. I have been told by a few people that you can modify wood S&W k frame grips to fit. Does anyone know how to modify grips like Arhends made for S&W k frames?

Regards

From left to right :

S&W Target K/L Squarebutt,
K. Nill for MR73,
K. Nill for S&W K/L Roundbutt.

Pictured grips are all open back. Nill also make similar grips with closed back too, as well as other styles and configurations.

Very nice.

I have a 4” MR73 with the original wood grips. Take the grips off the MR73 and put one of the K grips under the grip area and see what wood needs to be removed to make them fit. The hole for the pin may have to be moved also. Nice guns, Larry

Get some that look closest to the original commercial grips, like these Service and Target models from the 1970's...
