Got this on a trade from a friend, and I have to say it is one of the smoothest, nicest finished REP Marlin's I have had my hands on, nice crisp trigger, good checkering and pretty good wood to metal fit. He said he never shot it and I believe him, the gun does not show any evidence of being loaded or fired. Factory box is included, but a little tattered, hammer chewed through in one spot and box was taped shut at one point. Scope is a Weaver Classic LER scope 4X, mounted in Millet rings, makes for an AWESOME setup.
I would really like to keep this but too many bills and irons in the fire, and I have a #1 45-70 already ;-)
