Went to the range today with my new Maverick 88 with 20" barrel.
Shot 125 rounds of Federal 2 3/4 - 7 1/2 birdshot, and 10 Remington sluggers
Shot great, held a tight pattern, action was a lil stiff at first but reliable, & aimed true.
My only gripe... Sometimes I could load 8 in magazine tube and sometimes only 7? It was about a 50/50 split of 8 or 7. All were 2 3/4 shells.
Gotta say I was very impressed with this $240 shotgun.
