Mayor Daley is so stupid he's evil

The MAYOR is a very slick politician.
Daley knows perfectly well (as by the way do other big city mayors) that the only way to eliminate the "gun problem" to his satisfaction is to disarm the entire world. As long as violence continues in Chicago and firearms are involved it will be because they were "imported" from a neighboring county, city, state country, you name it.
Since world wide disarmament isn't going to happen even with BHO in office, at least anytime soon, the MAYOR gets to blame others for the problem.
As soon as the subject of violence comes up Daley goes into his rant about his "crusade against guns"-------then he says:" I have told you what needs to be done, just do it!" A perfect excuse in his mind for his doing nothing.

This seems to work for him so far at least.
 
Worldwide disarmnent

It the UN, and Hillary, have their way there will be worldwide disarmnent. That is what that UN small arms treaty Hillary is trying to get Obama to sign on to is all about.
 
I have a great deal of confidence that SCOTUS via McDonald vs Chicago will shove a huge legal foot down the throat of the monumentally corrupt Rotten Richard in June. Then, he'll be raging on TV about how the courts have taken away all his tools to fight crime. Fight crime, Rotten by resigning.

Chicago is just like all the other monster crime cities, Detroit, Baltimore, DC, Atlanta, Philly, Houston, Jacksonville, Little Rock etc. Huge populations of welfare dependent minorities whose social structures have failed or are non existent. Money and laws won't fix these problems nor will more futile gun control laws.

Chicago just happens to have a POS who, along with his rotten father have dominated Chicago for what 60 yrs due to mob politics??? Don
 
No hijack intended: Seems like a U. S Congress member from Ill. said the Arizona Immigration Law is like nazi germany rounding up Jews in the 1930s, and will turn Arizona into a police state, but has said nothing about Daley wanting National Guard troops taking to his streets! Police state?!
 
Engine18---There is no reason for liberals to be consistent. Consistency is only demanded by liberals of those they consider lesser men.

If all of the liberals prized plans were put into affect and the law abiding worldwide were to be disarmed, in its self a lengthy process, the non-law abiding would still be armed to the teeth. The liberals have no more idea how to go about disarming the criminals than you or I, if they knew how it would have been done long ago. In fact what they want is undoable.
Consequently Mr. Daley the MAYOR knows that his crusade is a perfect way to shift the blame to others and it's good forever.

The criminals can be disarmed. That is easily done. Once they become a criminal, put them in jail and leave them there.

Ever notice when we are looking for a criminal, we always have a mugshot of him? It is because we had the criminal once and then turned him loose. The idea is to take criminals off the street, not put them on the street.

The public is the reason for criminals being released. They complain about family members being arrested and hire pricey attorneys to get sentences reduced. Sadly some attorneys will work hard to get people they know are guilty released just due to them being paid a nice fee. Heck, even Johnny Cochran knew O.J. was guilty but for a few million, he out dressed and out argued the prosecution. The man had OJ try on a pair of gloves but insisted he wear rubber gloves to prevent blood contamination. The rubber gloves caused the murder gloves to not fit and the CA jury was too stupid to see that and the prosecution was too stupid to object or bring it out to the jury.

If the lower governments did as the Feds do and make a sentence be fully served with no parole, probation or shortening of time sentenced then we would not have as many criminals on the streets and there would be fewer armed criminals.
 
Gee.....Gang problem, where it is illegal to have a handgun for the law bidding to protect themselves? who would think.Mayor Dailey would rather have the National Guard ,with Full Auto weapons,taking police action against his constituients to keep the peace on a stage that HE CREATED.If it is the guns that cause the problem then why isn't he screaming from the rooftops that these out of state full autos are going to create more violence.These anti-gun politicians are pathetic they set the stage for crime to thrive then when it does they expect law enforcement to bear the brunt of the attack and clean up their mess.Time for the citizens of Chicago to wake up and remove these people from office.......God Bless......Mike
 
My mother in law lives in N. Indiana, about 20 mi from Chicago. She said Daley's wife has cancer and he's saying he won't run again.

Not knowing anything about Mrs. Daley, I'll assume she's OK and wish her well but I'd wonder about anyone who'd live with that a**.

Anything that keeps him from having another term as mayor has positive aspects. Don
 
May be one of these days old [VOTE EARLY VOTE OFTEN] Daley will lose the cemetary vote and not get reelected

I have wondered about that. We're about 40 miles from Chicago so his obsession dominates the news media up here.

Evil masquerading as stupid is more dangerous.
 
Daley is one crafty guy. During the "housing boom" that lasted 10-15 years, and fell flat last year Daley took advantage of the associated greed and started the gentrification of Chicago. The process included demolishing HUD buildings that housed the bulk of the welfare cheats, baby mamas and their litters, gangsters, druggies, and general lowlifes. Once the land was clear, building new housing commenced. So the aforementioned population once contained in gov. housing developments with nowhere to live, scattered like a bucket of roaches turned upside down. They used gov. money, (mine, yours) in the form of programs like section 8 to relocate into stable neighborhoods, like mine. When these aforementioned folks lived in the HUD projects, raids took place occasionally and guns, drugs, bodies, were confiscated. Now the gun toting freaks are spread everywhere, with non-warranted searches being impossible (if you lived in HUD projects you were subject to searches). I'll go out on a limb and say fully 40% of the new housing in Chicago is uninhabited. Daleys intention was to lure suburbanites that work in downtown Chicago, back to Chicago. It's too expensive, and dangerous to live in Chicago.

it centers around politicians like him and our congress and senate
who are self serving whores who continually sell this great country out, little by little, day by day, and for what? Money!
Most have more money than they can ever spend. Power! To do what, set their friends and family up in positions where they can
benefit from the continual pillage of this country.
The American people are greatest, most generous, fair minded
people on the face of the planet, BUT when wronged, we can be the scourge of the defilers and they should remember that.Both parties are equally to blame and I say, " VOTE THEM ALL OUT. "

I agree with what you say other than the next to the last sentence. I have doubt that most of this country will right the wrongs. What do we still have; Inoye (spelling?) from Hawaii, nearly 50 yrs of liberal garbage, Rotten Richard Byrd of WV, now going on 52 yrs in the Senate, hardly able to speak, wheelchair bound. I'm sure he's really taking care of office business, right? The Senate wouldn't even vote Larry Craig out or censure John Ensign. They REFUSE to police themselves and the public isn't demanding it.

Past time for term limits and a maximum age limit for Congress, say no one older than 80 at the end of their elected term. Won't happen, the same corrupt people won't vote to end their time in power.

All too many people say Congress is rotten to the core but THEIR Senator or Representative is OK! After all, they bring pork back to their community. Too many people were happy with Clinton's misconduct in office, they're really not upset by unethical scumbags. Don
