Wow! I'm excited. I found three nice S&W consignment guns this weekend and bought them.

I don't know too much about the S&W Mdl 34-1 4" .22lr
that I bought, but I can't wait to pick it up and shoot it at the range.
It looks unfired and comes with original box.
I need to clean-off fingerprints on frame when I pick-up in 10-days.

Any info on the mdl 34-1 4", much appreciated.

I also bought a S&W 686-4 6" L-frame revolver and a S&W 5906 9mm pistol.

My pocketbook said, sorry on a Mdl 14 K-38 target, and two flat latch mint mdl 36 and 37 snubnose 38's and a mdl 19 .357 snubby.
Ohhh! So tempting.

The S&W Mdl 34-1 four inch .22LR
with tax and dros ...was $568.70
($499.95 + $25 dros and tax)

Sweet

I think you did real good, I would have grabbed that up in a second. Not really a steal price but I think it's pretty fair on that weapon. Besides, once you shoot it I doubt if you even remember the price. Here is a picture of my 34 with its "twin" in a model 63.
I have fraternal twin sons and so my collecting theme is "alike but differant"

:) Considering S&W 22LR revolvers are selling high I think you got a good deal. I wish we had gun stores that carried S&W's. Everthing is plastic around here. Don

From "DROS" I gather you are in CA, so add the scarcity and "if it's less than 50 years old it's unsafe" factors to the price, and you did good.

Hi Murphydog,
Thanks, and yes I'm located in California and the factors you mentioned are true.

Tackdrvr, you have a very nice set of twins in your 34 and 63.
Thanks for posting your babies.
