Now try this:

Open Edit for your post.
Without editing anything, hit Preview.
Open preview photo by clicking on thumbnail, right-click on photo and "copy image address". (On a smartphone, just press on thumbnail until pop-up menu opens, hit Copy.)
Go back to text window, place cursor where you want to insert picture in text, then click photo icon (yellow w/mountain) above text box.
Paste image address in box that will pop up, click okay, preview; the picture should be where you want it.
