Just read about this new metal preservative and thought I would mention it for those who may be interested. Not intended as a cleaner but strictly a rust preventer when storing firearms especially. Does it prevent rust by means of Gold plating?

Hopefully there should be a decimal point between 1 and the 9?
I haven't seen a need to go beyond RemOil and RenWax. Just how good does the stuff have to be to protect a gun?
