I'm still trying to gather more info on the oddball .22 conversion to the 5 screw M&P posted below (7/27). Based on the 86XXX ser. # on the butt, and 140XXX on the back of the cylinder, can anyone supply a manufacture date for either # ? Thanks for any help.

The 86xxx is about 1907, and the 140xxx is about 1909. Its hard
to relate this to the gun itself. Something could have happened
in, say 1925, and someone replaced the 86xxx cylinder with the
140xxx one.
