My brother purchased 500 rounds of 38 special MFS ammo awhile back from Ammotogo.com
I don't remember the bullet weight, but it is a FMJ round. He was getting at least on round like those pictured below out of every cylinder. Often more.
He is shooting this ammo out of a S&W model 681 I foolishly sold him some time back (didn't know how difficult it would be to find another one). He doesn't think shooting this ammo will hurt his weapon. He also thinks its too late to try and send it back. I don't know if these splits will hurt his pistol or not, but I will not shoot it.
The bummer part is I usually get his brass. Just thought I'd pass this along if anyone was considering purchase of this ammo.
