For you diehard's still hanging on to Windows XP, I just happened to see on Microsoft's website that they're providing a special (one-time) security patch for the WannaCrypt malware, that's currently in the news, for this & other versions of Windows that they no longer support.
Here's the links to their website. Appears that the only way to get it is to manually download it yourself since MS Update doesn't support XP anymore.
