Does anyone have any pictures of the Midwest Industries QD MCStar -30 sling mount on their M&P 15-22? I am wondering how does it fit on the tube and does it slide around any?

I should have mine in next week and the sling a few days after that. I am wondering if it slides around on the buffer tube any?

Not at all...it's 100% secure. Pic:

Nice photo. I've read other posts that suggest turning around the mount on 15-22's. What is your take on that?

Can't help there...I've never had a reason to modify or alter it in any way. It fit pretty easily from what I recall, and hasn't moved since. It might block the CTR that I have on there from moving forward all the way (don't recall for sure), but other than that, it's been great.

The mount was in yesterday mail, so to say I found it this morning. I just put it on my 15-22 and it went on real smooth. It took me longer to find the screw that I dropped on the floor than it took me to put it on the tube. At first it was a little lose but I still but half of a twist later and it fits great. I should know 100% when my sling come in, but if it does slip any I know i have more room to tighten the screw.
I can not push the stock all they way in to the last position anymore but that will not bother me at all.

I am happy with it.:)

My mount came in today and I think it looks best the way you mounted yours and that's the way mine is on. Thanks again for posting the photo.

Yes, the MCTAR-30 tube mount does block the forward most position for a Magpul CTR stock. If that's okay with you, it's a great mount.
