I found, or should I say these 2 Smiths found me, at the Baltimore show last weekend. They aren't Russian so I didn't buy them, but the owner was kind enough to let me take pictures to share.

Both are NM 3s. The first is a Japanese Naval marked in 44 Russian.

Joe, Was the Turkish model matching numbers ? Did either gun have a factory letter ? Do you recall the asking prices on these two guns ? Ed.

Neither revolver was completely matched. The Japanese Navy had the cylinder replaced and the number on the cylinder was, I believe, in the correct range for a Japanese contract as well so the replacement happened before the revolver returned to the US. The holster came with it.
The Turkish frame is one number and the cylinder, latch and barrel are another number. All are correct for the contract (and it is not an assy number).
Both are out of an old collection that is being slowly sold off. If you want the prices and name of the seller, PM me.
