Here's a gem from my personal collection. This is an immaculate 1977 Colt Diamondback 38 Special. The Diamondback's beautiful styling was taken directly from its big brother, the Python 357.
Features include fully adjustable sights, a classic vented rib barrel, finely checkered walnut grips with the gold Colt medallions, and a crowned barrel. This revolver is free of any wear, scratches, or dings anywhere on the gun or the grips. Its nearly 40 years old, but looks like it was built yesterday.
Sadly, Colt will no longer produce anything like this and they won't get any easier to find as the years go by and value climbs. This is a beautiful investment piece for any Colt collector and also a stunning addition for any classic revolver fan.
I bought this revolver several years ago and never fired it. I do not believe it was fired much at all before that, judging from the looks. This is a real nice piece of Colt history.
