Having nothing better to do today, I thought you might find a miscellaneous few of the .22’s I have around here of interest. Left to right they are:
Marlin 39A Mountie
Marlin 39A with Leupold 4x
Winchester 75 Sporter with Lyman receiver sight
Savage 23AA with Weaver 2.5x and custom stock

I have several heavy barreled Ruger 10/22's, a heavy barreled Ruger 77/22. However the one that is the most fun is the little Ruger 10/22 Takedown that is threaded for a suppressor. That little lightweight rifle is extremely accurate and return to zero is absolute.

Ive got a stock 10/22 with Tech Sights on it
A Wz. 48 Single shot .22 Polish Mosin Nagant Trainer
A Henry Octagon Frontier

and I'm in the market for an Anschutz 1913 Super Match.

Funny story. I wanted a Marlin 39M real bad as a teenager in the 80s. In 1982 or 83, I went to local dealer to order one. He was a nice guy, told me that he could certainly get one, and they were beautiful rifles, but would set me back about $175. He said it was my money and he'd do whatever I decided, but...

He convinced me to go with a Ruger 10/22. I got the nicer Sporter model, an extra magazine, sling, and probably some ammo too Seem to recall spending maybe $120 or so for everything. Still don't know if I made the right choice. I dearly love that 10/22, still have it, and its a tackdriver. But, I never did get my Marlin.

A Model 39 is one of the few guns left on my bucket list. I'd probably go with the longer 39A these days

I love .22 plinking, I have a Glenfield model 25, a Glenfield model 75, a Henry H003 pump and a Henry H001 lever.

Guess I have all the actions covered, just need a revolver in .22 LR.

LOL When you get that Marlin 39a you will want to go back and beat the man at the gun store. Nothing wrong with that Ruger but it is not in the same league as a Marlin 39a

Great thread! Love those .22s. Have a 1958 Marlin Golden Model 39A, early 1970's Remington 572, a Marlin Model 60 and an M&P 15-22. Hope to find a nice vintage bolt action sometime.

BTW-Was in Wal-Mart today doing the one in one out thing. Wore my mask. Made a quick pass through sporting goods. .22 LR ammo on the shelves. A week ago there was none. Maybe the one in - one out thing has kept the hoarders away. I didn't buy any as I have enough.

Be safe out there!

VaTom
