Well I guess the SEC thought that Mizzou would be cannon fodder has been proved wrong...You can't spend all that time in the Big8 without getting tough...Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri and then even Colorado even got good, Usually hard nosed football. Problem in big 8 was the good teams killed each other..

Great game. That last fumble for a touchdown was a heart-breaker for us Okies. I think OSU represented themselves well but Mizzou was just too good.

I'm a longtime OSU Cowboy fan and that game was painful to watch. Our quarterback looked like he was high on dope and made bad decisions, bad passes, and looked slower than a turtle but he normally is pretty quick. That was just a bad game for him and I'm amazed they didn't put in the second team QB who is just as good a thrower and an even better runner.

It was a great game, a real teeth clencher. Everytime I looked OU had that ball and were driving!

I'm a Tiger fan and we have been through so many hair-pulling, head scratching, posture slumping losses over the years. I think we all were quietly expecting the worst. But this time it did not come to pass. Here is a great sports column from this morning St. Louis Post-Dispatch about the past, yesterday, and the future:

Burwell: At last, a happy ending for Tigers on a big stage : Sports

DGT and Farmer17. OSU is a very good team. I watched the game and knew down to the last few minutes either team could win.

OSU and Mizzou when we were in the big 12 were always looking up at 3 other teams. Both of us have greatly improved over the past 5 or 6 seasons. Today both of our teams can go into any game feeling they are an equal and can expect to win.

Best wishes for next year guys.
