I just bought a very nice Model 10-5 nickel. Mfg about 1964. When I took the grips off (the number on them match the number on the frame). On the lower part of the butt frame was a number 2 over the initials NW; looking through the internet and my Smith book, I could find nothing that indicated what that might be. Anyone know?
