Model 10, no dash (1960)

Traded for a S&W Model 10, no dash, blue 4". In the original box,with paperwork,and cleaning rod. The owner said he got it from a family,that bought it new,but never fired it. It looks like it. A very slight turn ring. Barely can even see anything. Trying to see what it would be worth? I know I haven't posted any pictures,but any help would be appreciated. This is one of the nicest old S&W's,I have seen in some time.

A 4" M10 is the S&W bread and butter gun. A gun in the condition you describe would go for ~$500 around here. Box, papers and tools add $50-75.
