A friend has acquired a model 14-3 from a relative that has been converted to a PPC revolver. it has a 6" slab sided bull barrel with an Aristocrat or Bomar type rib on it and has been converted to DA only. The action is as smooth as any I have ever felt. The only markings I see on the gun are "Eversull" on the left side of the barrel. I am assuming this gun was built by Ken Eversull. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Those appear to be an old pair of Hogue two piece stocks. I do not know when he went to the one piece stock, but I would guess those are from the early to mid 70s.

I prefer the two piece.

Ken Eversull was (is) a gunsmith located in a small town close to Alexandria, Louisiana (can't remember the name of the town). I'm not sure if he is retired or even still alive. He worked on handguns for the Louisiana State Police for several years, doing repairs and action jobs. Several years ago I owned a 2 1/2" nickle model 19 that I bought from a retired trooper. The action on it was amazing. Wish I still had it. I was speaking with Jim Clark, Jr. of Clark Custom guns in Princeton, Louisiana several years ago before his untimely death and he knew Mr. Eversull. Said he had bought several PPC bull barrels from him. I saw one of his PPC revolvers for sale a number of years ago at a local gunshow and did not buy it and was sad later that I did not.
