Model 15-3 Box end label

OK, I have my Bangor Punta box end label for a new (to me) 15-3 almost figured out (and I have the SCSW 4th Edition...but just can't find the explanation!)

Center of label, "SPECIAL FEATURES"... what does F457 mean?
If it's in the catalog, please point me to the pages...my eyes are bleary from looking!


Everything else on the label is easy to decipher.

It could possibly be put on by a gun shop for inventory. A shop I go to put on a round orange sticker on the label with their inventory number.

Never seen anything like that before. My guess is that it is not important, and some shop internal code

That's what I'm thinking. Mostly because, written next to it in a different colored ink is $289.00
