Model 15-3 Nickel snubby!

I just lucked into another 2” Combat Masterpiece. This one is beautifully nickeled and came with the original box, and I believe the fitted, matching stocks. I’ll know for sure when I get home to my tools. This will definitely make a great stablemate for my blue 15-4 snubby. Thinking this one shipped sometime in 1977?

Very likely. 16K is a 1977 serial number.

Those 15 snubbies are what's known as "Double Cool".

Beautiful 15. I am fortunate to have 2, one blue and another I had black nitrided. Would be happy to stumble upon one in nickel.

I removed the stocks and thankfully they are numbered to the gun!

Given the condition of the gun, box etc., I would have bet the grips were original to the gun. Again, great find.

Hey Larry, yes it was a local find. Shop said someone brought it in and sold it to them. It's uncommon for sellers of these older guns to bring in the original boxes.
