i have a 19-3 that has the ser number in the barrel shrowd ?? never seen that befor , it is common or what ?? i have two of them both nickle but one has a beaver tail hanner an tigter on it the outher doesnt have it when did s&w do this on the barreles both are in 98 % gunsor is this a rebarrels gun , both are numbered on the butt plate
