Model 19-6 Manufature Date

Hey Guys, I recently acquired a 19-6 and my S&W books don't list anything that new as far as date wise. Obviously it's is 1988 or newer but was wondering if you could help pinpoint the year. Serial # BEK71XX. Thanks in advance.

Curt, you may need to update to the SCSW 3rd edition (from 2005) .

Prefix BEK is in the Appendix, October 1989. Happy collecting!

Thank You Alan. I was looking at the new 4th addition and wasn't finding it. I will pull out the 3rd edition and check it out.

No problem. Check out page 491 of the 4th edition under 1989 .
