Actually there are two, one blued, 4 inch barrel (19-3) and one nickel. The nickel version is in excellent condition with a 4 inch barrel. It has a blued rear sight, pinned and recessed, target hammer and trigger. I will have to go back and get a better look at the grips. They want $319 for each one.

That is not a bad deal if they are mechanically good.

I like blue, but that's just me. $319 sounds pretty darn good around my part of the world. A nice quality nickle would be sweet.

WHY are you not posting pictures my man!?? You need to be waiting for them in the morning and latch onto them. I would not have hesitated on the nickle one, most likely both.

Definitely get hold of one of those. The Model 19 is an extremely dependable workhorse. I've had one now almost 30 years. Accurate & flawless.

I've been looking for a 4" model 19 for several months, and haven't seen a single one.

I would have also bought them both on the spot for that price if they're in good condition.

That is really a good deal. Better buy them both. It might hurt now, but in a few years you will be glad you did. The last two really rough blued ones I have seen (4" 19-3, 2 1/2" 19-5) sold for $300 and those both were wearing rubber grips and had seen their fair share of holster and range duty.

Buy both of them. In California a shooters grade model 19 is going for over $600. If I could buy out of state I would have bought both. I did get lucky on a model 19-4 6 inch barrel for $269 out the door. So what I am telling you if you have the money buy both. At least buy one.
Good luck,
Howard

That is a very good deal. Where I live Model 19's will usually be priced for between $450 - $500. If they check out mechanically I would get both of them if possible.

I can only hope....

that they are in your hands now. That's a good deal Coneten. My new rule is any N under $500 and any K masterpiece series under $400 are to be purchased. Even at the expense of getting rid of something still being made to fund it. Asking that question is like asking, "I can buy an ounce of gold for $1000, Should I do it?" Those are good deals Coneten. I hope you get them.:) You know me, I am trying to get a 29 LPD gun!!!:D

Buy them both, sell one, and wind up with one for next to nothing.

Yeah, it's a good thing you didn't post the location, because they wouldn't be there in the morning. I might have dislocated my shoulder whipping my wallet out.

i was at my local dealers today...found a 19-3 4"blue and it was $550.00...now its 99%in the box with tools, paperwork and such and appears unfired but dang....jump on both of those!!thats a great deal !

They are still there. The nickel one has wrap around rubber grips but does have the target hammer and trigger. It has a few minor scratches on the left side of the frame. The blued one shows more wear but does have the original grips.
