Commemerative firearms value is based on them being new in the box. Un-used and all there. It is pretty much worth what you were happy to pay for it. It will hold that value until you shoot it and then it's value is based on its condition as a used shooter.
To retain it's value it needs to be a well maintained safe queen.
I believe that model is recent and plentiful.
Take care of it or use it as a pretty shooter.

Rdrbill is right on with his post. Don't get hung up on if you've got more or less than it's worth in it. But, to answer your question log onto GunBroker and search completed auctions for 5 inch 27-2's and you should find the goin' rate. ( I'm gonna' guess 650/750 )

You have a great revolver!

I just sold a slightly used one, in excellent condition, with no box for $695 about 4 weeks ago.
