Model 28-2 barrel change question

I have a fairly nice 6" 28-2 that I have been shooting. I have several 5" N frames and would like to make this one a 5" also

My question is....What barrels could I use to just change out the barrel so I could change it back if I decided to sell it.

I don't know my model numbers well enough for sure

Chuck - 28-2 6"ers are easy to find and they aren't rare. Go for your original instinct and cut it - do it right. It'll be a cool gun and something you will enjoy.
As JJ said, Model 27 barrel.................but the top strap will not be the same.
