Went to my local pawn show today and they have a 29-10 for $899.99, a stainless steel Browning Bda 380 in for $350.00 and a Colt target match for $899.99. I decided for the Browning. What do you guys think about the prices? and does anyone have any experience with the Browning BDA 380?

The 29-10 seems a bit high. Is it engraved? I have one I bought a couple months ago for $699 (engraved). I just saw a nice 29-3 6" asking $700. Based on his past pricing I would say I can get it for $600otd.

I was not favorably impressed with any of the prices.

The Browning BDA .380 is very well built and nicely finished.
I had one many years ago and the thing ran like a top.

I wasn't aware that they were made in stainless, yours is most probably nickel.

Enjoy it.

I have a full set of BDAs. 9mm, .38s .45acp .380acp.
Never heard of a stainless BDA ether.
Nickel yes.
You must have found the golden hens tooth!
If the seller sold it as stainless, then fraud was committed with misrepresentation of item.
my 2cts.
sometimes it pays to do a little research

I have experiance with the browning BDA .380. It was a good gun, but to me the drawback was I have seen other guns that size in 9mm. I had owned a beautiful colt pocket auto in .380 long before that and also a walther .380. Both were smaller and more compact. I just thought if I wanted to carry the larger browning I could find something more powerfull in 9mm in the same size.

Hi:
I CCW a Blued BDA .380 as an Agency issued "Off Duty" weapon. Came with 13 round magazines. On the advice of a Gunsmith, former Special Forces friend I used PMC .380acp JHP ammo. IMPRESSIVE performance.

I have the original Beretta model 84. Beretta made the Browning. Very good shooter and accurate too. Trigger pull is not the best, but a nice pistol. My older model does not have the internal safety which I understand they added to the later models.

Before the age of the Glock, this was THE gentleman's carry pistol

Aaand today I went to my local gun shop and got myself in trouble again. I found a used never fired Marlin MR-7 30-06. I had to have it. Oh and did I mention it has a Duck Unlimited medallion on the stock. $400 OTD.

I carry one, and two of my friends also carry one. We like it. It may not be as compact as a Walther or old Colt, but it is very well made and very reliable. A nickel for $350 is good deal if it is in very good condition. Did you get any extra magazines with it?

I did not. Just the one it came with.
