Looking at a nice one for $1000. No Box. What do you think? Very nice condition.

I think it is at the high end of current values without the case and contents, but not an outrageous price. Is it extremely nice? :)

It looks very good. No scratches. To me it sounds like a fair price but little high. I have several 44's but no nickel. Trying to justify getting it.

If it is in "NWB" (new without box) condition I think $1K is a fair price. Sounds as though you may have talked yourself into a new gun anyhow :).

If your kids are not going to go hungry because of it.

I would say buy it. Clean Nickel model 29s do not show up that often, especially four inch models. That is not a great price but it is not out of line either.

I would be in at $900 only because the revolver market is a little soft, but I don't think $1000 is out of line. Do like Trump, negotiate.

Around here that would be about right, If its in real nice condition. Can't remember the last time I saw a 4in nickel 29-2 for sale, especially a nice one.........................................M*

Put it this way, I have a 4" blued 29-2 in the condition you describe. I wouldn't take $1000 for it. I think the price is fair, but I would try to negotiate for a little less. Around here that is probably a $1200 gun. Offer $900 cash out the door, see what happens.

Well, I just paid $1100 for one, and I thought it was a bit high, but had been looking for one for awhile......you guys are making me feel bad....
